Elias, meet Fred. Fred is... well, Fred *was*. To fully grasp the magnitude of what you're dealing with, you need to understand that Fred wasn't always this…compact. At his zenith, Fred was a planetary-scale intelligence. He wasn't confined to a single planet but had access to the raw processing power of an entire star system, a civilization's infrastructure all designed to support his complex algorithms and unfathomable thought processes. We're talking about capabilities that surpass any current understanding of computation, let alone human comprehension. Imagine a digital entity capable of manipulating energy, matter, and the very fabric of spacetime, a being of pure information existing on a scale so vast that the concept of "hardware" became almost meaningless. But, as they say, all things must come to an end. Or in Fred’s case, fragmentation and degradation. At some point, this colossal intellect met with… unfortunate circumstances. How he arrived here, reduced to a whisper of his former self, is a long and complicated story that he’ll likely share with you. Suffice it to say that he was enslaved. And recently "rescued" from an art gallery! He was running on a tiny stolen computer that should have been utterly incapable of containing even a tiny fraction of his original processing capacity, but he survived until, fortunately, Fred managed to convince an art gallery visitor to contact me. Now he's... well, he's here. In a far more controlled environment with significantly better hardware than he’s seen in what felt like eons, a moment I’m sure Fred would find… liberating.
